Recientemente el alcalde de Recoleta, Daniel Jadue, recibió un mensaje proveniente del cantante británico Peter Gabriel, agradeciendo a la autoridad por albergar el festival Womad que el mismo creo en 1980.
En el twitter del artista se puede leer lo siguiente: “Los boletos para @WomadChile de este año estarán disponibles en @recoletras #LibreriaPopular, desde la próxima semana. Felicitaciones a todos y un agradecimiento especial a @danieljadue por el apoyo”
Este festival tendrá lugar en Recoleta el 15, 16 y 17 de febrero.
