Paul McCartney y Yoko Ono han rendido un emotivo tributo a John Lennon en el 40 aniversario de la muerte del fallecido ícono de la música.
Lennon fue asesinado a tiros por Mark David Chapman frente a la entrada del edificio de apartamentos Dakota de Nueva York, donde vivía con Ono, su esposa, el 8 de diciembre de 1980.
Rindiendo homenaje en Twitter, McCartney compartió una foto de la pareja sentados juntos en un estudio de grabación antes de la muerte de Lennon.
“Un día triste pero triste pero recordando a mi amigo John con la gran alegría que trajo al mundo. ¡Siempre estaré orgulloso y feliz de haber conocido y trabajado con este increíble Scouser! X amo a Paul ”, subtituló la foto.
